TRAVEL GUIDES

I've put together these travel guides based on my experiences in each place. They are by no means extensive but hopefully will act as a useful starting place for each location.

Please feel free to DM on instagram with any questions about the locations/travel.

Koh Phangan Digital Nomad Tavel Guide

A beautiful island in the Gulf of Thailand, its known for its Full-Moon parties, but there is much more to it than that. It's a sort of a mini Bali, but even that description doesn't do it justice. Trips to Koh Phangan should be planned in weeks and months rather than days. It's a slow pace of life with affordable beachside accommodation, great food choices, plenty of nature and of course beaches.

Get away from Haad Rin where the full-moon parties happen and you'll find yoga, hikes, vegan restaurants, crypto cafes, ecstatic dance, tantra workshops, breath-work, ice baths... and everything in-between. You can buy yourself a kimono and join hippie/new-age life of Koh Phangan, or just hangout in your hammock and do your own thing. My style is probably a bit of both!

Areas of Koh Phangan:

Haad Rin: Full moon beach. Don’t stay here unless you're there for the party. Some nice places to eat/hangout at though.

Thong Sala - The main town area good for banks / shopping / food / coffee but I wouldn't recommend staying here particularly

Ban Tai - There are some okay places to stay around here, but it tends to draw a younger/backpacker crowd and is getting closer to haad rin

Where I recommend staying / hanging out

Hin Kong

Sri Thanu

Haad Yao

Haad Chao Phao

Beaches to visit, only accessible by boat or hike.
